An idyllic little village 3 miles outside of Brecon. There are wonderful walks up Fan y Big from the village, or by the canal and river. There's a small play park in the centre of the village. A couple of miles away is the well reputed pub The Three Horseshoes.
A friendly cathedral town in the lee of the mountains with the rivers Usk and Honddu running through. For a small town, there's a lot going on. A leisure centre with a pool, 1930s style cinema, excellent theatre and plenty of shops and cafes. On the outskirts of the town are popular villages including Llangorse with it famous lake, Cantref with its popular adventure farm, Talybont, well known as a walking and cycling hub and Felin Fach, home of The Griffin, a highly acclaimed pub and restaurant.
