With plenty of space to spread out, this grand property is a great choice for large get-togethers and multi-generational parties. The kitchen/diner is sure to impress all budding chefs with its extensive worktops, sociable island and large range-style oven. Alternatively, the mezzanine snug is a cosy spot for a movie night. Each of this property’s six charming bedrooms boasts exposed beams, oak flooring and carefully chosen linens and throws. When you’re not challenging fellow guests to a game of table tennis, head outside to enjoy a tasty BBQ in the manicured garden. Just 1.5 miles from the property lies the literary mecca of Hay-on-Wye, also home to a good selection of independent shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. Continue south to reach the spectacular Brecon Beacons National Park, where you will find no shortage of things to do including horse riding, caving, water sports, mountain biking and gorge walking. I cannot recommend the Great Hay Barn highly enough - the PERFECT venue for a family gathering. The barn is enormous, offering plenty of space for everyone to spread out whilst still feeling warm and cosy. The dining area sits 18 people comfortably and is fantastic for hosting mealtimes for the extended family. The bedrooms are extremely comfortablRead moree with quirky features which children will love. The games room, gardens and walk to Hay-on-Wye provides plenty of entertainment for all. We LOVED it!
