Gather a big group for a holiday to remember. This stone barn has been converted into five-star accommodation, suitable for everyone to come together and relax, including your dogs. It’s part of a holiday complex, so if you’d like to invite more people, they can stay on site. You’ll be just outside of Hay-on-Wye, a charming town with plenty of activities to suit all tastes.

This barn is all on one level. You enter directly into an open-plan living space with a vaulted ceiling and French doors which lead to the courtyard. On one side of the room, there’s a lounge area with a wood burner so you can stay cosy. There’s a dining table in the middle, which can seat all of your guests, and at the end, there’s a kitchen with a breakfast bar. It’s a lovely social space so you can spend time together, even if you’re doing different things. Off to the side, there’s a lounge, great for quiet moments. You’ll also have a utility room and a WC. The property has plenty of bedrooms. Firstly, there are two super-king-size rooms with en-suite bathrooms; one has a bath and a separate shower, and the other has a shower over the L-shaped bath. Then you’ll have a double room and two single rooms, one of which has a low, vaulted ceiling and would be good for a child. These three bedrooms share a family shower room with a WC. Outside, you’ll see a courtyard with a small table, and there’s a fire pit.

You’ll be staying just next to a yard (around 100 metres), so any equestrians will feel right at home. Hay-on-Wye is 1.5 miles away, and it’s a wonderful town, famous for its independent bookshops, local cuisine and impressive castle.

Very well presented barn, loved the open plan kitchen a d dining area especially, great for entertaining. Everything needed was provided, Farmers lavender products a lovely touch.

Fantastic place to stay. The location was perfect, and the house was amazing. Everything was comfortable (especially the beds), and the Olive Barn was just lovely. Woodburner was great on a cold day! I'll be booking in again!
