Luxurious, romantic bolthole set in the heart of the Brecon Beacons which is a great base for exploring the local area.

Head for the hills and you won't be disappointed, the mountains of Pen Y Fan and Corn Ddu providing the initial welcoming party as you turn the lane, with stunning surroundings both inside and out this property is designed with total decadence in mind.

Hay-on-Wye of literary fame, the heritage of the Welsh Valleys and some of best walking in the National Park all in very easy reach. Miles of gentle strolls and cycle rides along the Brecon & Monmouth Canal, or the Brecon Beacons & Black Mountains are within easy reach. The Rivers Usk & Wye are both nearby for fishing, day permits for the Usk available in Crickhowell and canoes for the River Wye can be rented in Glasbury. For shopping you are Ideally located to visit Hay-on-Wye, Brecon, Crickhowell and Abergavenny. You can also be in the capital, Cardiff, within 40 minutes.

The accommodation offers ONE bedroom: super-king-size with coffee machine. Bathroom: with bath, wet room shower and WC. Lounge: with woodburner (logs included), Smart TV, Blu-ray and iPod dock. Kitchen/diner: with electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer and fridge/freezer. Outside: two separate terraces with outside seating large meadow for picnics and walks and BBQ and bike storage available on request. Amenities: ample parking. BATHING: Fabulous bathroom, with bath tub made for two (even has pillows), wet room area, large basin, loo, dressing gowns, slippers and soft and fluffy towels. Hairdryer available.

RELAXING: Large sitting room with double height ceiling, cosy sofas, wood burning stove, ceiling high windows leading to a bistro table outside, perfect for reading the morning paper.

THE TREATMENT STUDIO:  A dedicated Treatment Studio providing a wide range of restorative treatments to sample during your stay.  For more information, please contact the owner after booking.

TECHY STUFF: Full central heating throughout, Smart TV with USB port, Blu- Ray Player with USB port, Wi-Fi, Nespresso Machine...remote control candles...really!

COOKING & DINING: Large kitchen with granite worktop, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washer/dryer, glass splash backs, full size fridge and freezer. Dining table with Ercol dining chairs.

OUTSIDE: Garden to rear and front of property. Kitchen leads to private outside dining area with large Kettler table and chairs, sitting room leads to smaller outdoor bistro area. Barbeque available on request.

A beautiful part of wales to holiday in, the cottage was superb, luxery, spotlessly clean and every thing you would in a self catering cottage, it was peacefull and relaxing.

Perfect location very close to many walking trails within brecon beacons, the canals and short drive distance to brecon. The cottage was beautiful, cosy and very clean.
