From the porch head through to the warm and inviting lounge, a beautiful double-height space with a cosy wood burner, Smart TV, stone flooring and exposed beams. A step leads down into the fully equipped kitchen which features a large central island and breakfast bar. The ground floor also has a useful shower room and a light and relaxing sunroom/diner with lovely views. From the lounge, the original stone staircase winds around and up to the galleried first-floor landing where you will find a stylish shower room and three delightful bedrooms: 2 king-size bedrooms and a twin room, all with stunning views. Heading outside, the large gardens feature a patio, a stream and plenty of space for children and dogs to play. The cottage is set in a fantastic location in the Brecon Beacons, with the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, the River Usk, and Talybont Reservoir (7 miles) all within easy reach. There is a local pub with a wonderful deli next door within 1.5 miles where, if you fancy breakfast out you can eat there from 8am. The thriving village of Llangynidr (3 miles) has a choice of great shops, pubs and restaurants, or you could head to the bustling market town of Abergavenny (14 miles). Crickhowell is nearby (5 miles) and is known for its long history and beautiful surroundings. Other attractions include Llangorse Lake (9 miles), Tretower Court and Castle (6.5 miles) and Crickhowell Castle (8.5 miles).
