This rural retreat offers the best of both worlds – it’s quiet and secluded yet just 2 miles from the village of Llangadog. The handsome market towns of Llandovery and Llandeilo are 5 miles and 9 miles away so, between the three places, you have a wide range of shops, restaurants and pubs to choose from. A notable local feature is Y Garn Goch (6 miles) a hill with two Iron Age hill forts, and the dramatic ruins of Carreg Cennen Castle are 13 miles. Brecon Beacons National Park is 4 miles away.

The property has superb views over fields and pastures, and stylish interiors with contemporary touches. The spacious modern kitchen has all you need to rustle up a feast and features a Welsh dresser and an island table with stools; the dining room comfortably seats ten. Enjoy a cosy evening around the electric fire in the lounge or head to the games room for some fun. A utility room and a shower room are also on the ground floor. Head upstairs for the bedrooms – two doubles with en-suite shower rooms, one double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. The bathroom features a free-standing oval bath and a shower cubicle, and there’s a separate WC on this floor too.

The large enclosed garden includes a patio area with a picnic table. Light up the BBQ or spend a couple of hours in the hot tub catching up while you look out at the lovely views.

This is our second time staying. We stayed in September 2022 and March 2023. We absolutely love the lay our, the scenery and how peaceful and private it is. The rooms and bathrooms are very lovely too. Kitchen diner is amazing with beautiful views out the patio doors.

Great property with amazing views! We loved the extra additions of blankets to use in the lounge and games room. Wifi was pretty good and the kitchen had most things we needed to cater for 8 of us. Nice and secluded but still within a 5 minute drive from supermarket.
