This gorgeous property has a timeless feel and is decorated with lovely furnishings, interesting art, elegant window treatments and attractive lighting. The kitchen/diner is the heart of the home, with a fabulous quarry-tiled floor and a farmhouse-style dining table, surrounded by painted-wood cabinets and all the appliances you’ll need for creative cooking. The large lounge, also with a quarry-tiled floor, offers comfortable seating gathered around an open fire, with a Smart TV for entertainment on a quiet evening in. To reach the first floor, take the cottage-style, winding staircase and you’ll find two bedrooms, a king-size with a high, sloping roof (and a shallow step in the centre of the room) and a twin, sharing a family bathroom. The enormous lawn outside is perfect for stretching your legs and breathing in the fresh Welsh air, and there’s a patio area with a dining set where you can enjoy al fresco meals and drinks. You might also want to wander along to the beautiful orchard, in which apple and pear trees grow.

A comfortable cottage, well located for mountain walks and exploring Abergavenny, Crickhowell and Usk. Easy to find and access, being just a short distance from the A road, without any traffic noise. The large garden is completely enclosed by high, stone walls and so is perfect for dogs. No welcome pack and no shop within walking distance, so bringRead more your own milk and breakfast! Very peaceful. Hide

The cottage was nice, spacious & comfortable, there was no welcome pack or washing machine although there was two fridges and considering the rates that are charged for this property I would recommend these additions.
