The cottage is only a few minutes' walk to the centre of Brecon town, with its restaurants, pubs and attractive shops, Theatr Brycheiniog, the Coliseum Cinema, and 'Y Gaer' - the new art gallery, museum, library and cafe, soon to open.
Beautiful riverside walks are also immediately accessible; it takes only a minute or two to walk out of the cottage door and down to the river. There you can choose from a very pleasant walk along the Promenade, then on to the Weir and the children's playground, where you can hire canoes. In the other direction you reach the Canal Basin where the day boats are moored and then walk on along the canal or river, or perhaps head up into the mountains.
Dros Yr Avon is owned by the same people who for more than 20 years have welcomed visitors to Old Crofftau Now they are pleased to offer this river holiday cottage as well as their much-loved mountain home for visitors to enjoy.
