Box Barn Cottage is a recently renovated Welsh stone barn with high ceilings, exposed beams and plenty of traditional character.  This remote accommodation, set in our private grounds and above the tiny hamlet of Garthbrengy, is the perfect place to relax and unwind whilst overlooking the breath taking views of the Usk Valley and magnificent Brecon Beacons.  Alternatively, with miles of countryside all around, this is the perfect base for walking or cycling with Brecon town centre being only a 10 minute drive away.

Sleeps 2 one bedroom

The cottage has a newly fitted kitchen with masses of work and storage space and all the modern fixtures and fittings to make your stay with us hassle free.  A gas hob with electric oven, kettle, toaster, microwave, fridge and washing machine.  A dining table with chairs, a dresser and a small sofa - so you can enjoy meal times together or sit and relax.

This single storey cottage has 2 stone steps separating its open plan kitchen and living space.  Whatever the weather, the sitting room, with stone flooring, is a warm and cosy place to be with big comfy chairs and plenty of cushions, blankets and rugs.  The panoramic windows mean you can sit and enjoy the views or turn on the wall mounted TV for some light entertainment.

Bedroom - In the pretty double bedroom there is plenty of storage with a full length wardrobe, drawers and a dressing table.  The high ceilings and exposed beams again make this a very spacious room.

The shower room has a walk in shower, toilet and hand basin unit with shaver socket and extractor fan.

Open the patio doors from the sitting room and you have a Cotswold stone seating area overlooking the duck pond and your own lawn - a perfect place to have a BBQ and to sit and enjoy the panoramic view or to watch some beautiful sunsets and night skies.

A variety of outdoor activities and attractions are available in the surrounding areas and you will be spoilt for choice with some excellent restaurants in the wider Brecon area and the many local pubs offering food.

Box Barn Cottage is a private, comfortable, romantic retreat and has every home comfort you'll need to ensure your holiday is a memorable one.
