Prepare romantic meals for two in the compact Shaker-style kitchen, which you can enjoy in the dining room with the door open on warm days. Relax in the lounge in the evenings, and put your favourite show on the TV. Alternatively, you can curl up with a book or chat and plan your next day out. Sink into the comfortable bed for a restful night’s sleep after a soak in the whirlpool bath. The enclosed terrace is perfect for admiring the mountain views with your beverage of choice. There is also convenient storage for mountain bikes. Head to Crickhowell for a morning coffee and an invigorating walk along the River Usk. I genuinely cannot fault Willow Cottage - the hosts are extremely kind and generous - and the cottage itself well-supplied with equipment. Dont expect too much in the way of wifi owing to the remote location but instead enjoy the beautiful clear night skies and walks on the Llangattock Escarpment. For our dog, the garden was fine. It has a small eaRead morerth area for toileting and is surrounded by a low chicken wire fence. The rest is laid to patio suitable for snoozes in sunnier weather. Hide

We wanted a "secluded" cottage and that's exactly what we got, after nearly 2 miles of steep narrow lanes, with occasional passing points. If a car comes in the opposite direction stand by for "fun!" Everything we needed was clean & in good order. Good SAT TV for the wet evenings along with plenty of books & local walking maps. No WiFi signal was dRead moreetectable, although a 1 bar signal allowed us to make essential communications via mobile phone & email. Some great walks & meals nearby. Hide

Nice friendly people - clean and welcoming cottage. Only issue is that all roads to this cottage are narrow with some extremely steep gradients on sharp bends, and the track down to the cottage is not really suitable for a small vehicle. Close to Crickhowell and Averbegenny which are lovely.
