Explore the remains of the immense Roman open-air swimming pool before walking through to the most complete Roman amphitheatre in Britain at Caerleon Roman Fortress and Baths, 21 miles away. Visit Goytre Wharf and Canal Visitor Centre (9 miles) for a bike ride along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, and through the fields and woodlands that surround it.
