It’s just 7 miles from Brecon and 6 miles from the pretty town of Crickhowell, with the village of Llangynidr only a mile away. There you'll find scenic canal walks, a tennis court, and two welcoming, dog-friendly pubs to unwind in after a day outdoors.

Explore the Brecon and Monmouth Canal by kayak, or stroll beside the River Usk and the River Wye. Nearby, Llangorse Activity Centre and Cantref Adventure Farm offer climbing, pony trekking, and more, while the Henry Vaughan Walk winds through the breath taking Talybont valley—rich in Welsh history and natural beauty.

This is a fantastic property. A wonderful warm welcome from the hosts and Welsh cakes, milk and daffodils were lovely touches. Immaculately clean, really well stocked and a great location. Would highly recommend. Very impressed.

Host was helpful regarding information about the area. Welcome pack of milk, butter and cake on arrival. Lovely views and walks. Disappointed that we couldnt see night sky/stars due to light pollution into the Hayloft from street lamp directly above sitting room window.

Lovely cosy cottage in a great location. Very well equipped with everything you need including dish washer and washing machine. Great outside courtyard space too. Fabulous pub across the road and some great walks on the doorstep.

Great location for exploring the Brecon Beacons with the added bonus of great pub [The New Inn] a short walk away. The landlord and staff were very friendly.

Great accomodation, well equipped and clean . Nice location for ramblers , walks from the doorstep. Great home cooked food In the pub over the road although must book or you will be disappointed .

It is a well-presented cottage in a great location. There was everything to wish for in a holiday accommodation. Unobtrusive but ever-present owners.

Excellent location. Slight annoyance from the road traffic noise. Shower hot and powerful. Comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen with plenty dishwasher tablets! Lovely to have the welcome pack! Good to have a private parking space. Owners very flexible with arrival time. Will be back!
