Enjoy the best of both Monmouthshire and Herefordshire’s market towns with regular farmers markets and literature and art festivals. Park your car at the bridge and dross the wooden bridge and take a stroll across the meadow where you will capture your first glimpse of this hand-crafted railway carriage. A beautiful little cabin in the woods. The sky at night is spectacular, with no light pollution, the stars just pop. If you want peace away from the world, then I'd thoroughly recommend

The wool washers hut was really cosy, everything was catered for. The shops were only 10 mins away, and there was a great selection. The brook was a peaceful and calming sound. The fire pit was easy to use as was the gas barbecue. The hut was warm and the water was hot. We would visit again.

We had a wonderful few days here. The gorgeous hut is very cosy, the bed very comfortable and the location is secluded, peaceful and surrounded by nature. We saw a kingfisher on our first morning! We will definitely return. Wool Washers is our new favourite place to stay

Relaxed and peaceful week in this idyllic shepherds hut. The hut is beautiful and warm, and everything provided for a comfortable stay. So much nature and the sound of the babbling brook is wonderful to go to sleep and wake up to, beats any wellness app. Thank you.

A wonderful secluded hut, excellent atmosphere with the noise from the brook filling the private garden. Access for the car is good, but for the most part it stayed where it was while we relaxed and read/dozed in the garden. The covered deck adds an excellent element to the holiday to help cope with the weather when it comes over all Welsh (rain).
