With Crickhowell less than 6 miles away, head off on a circular walk from Crickhowell to Table Mountain for wonderous views. Stay even closer to home and visit Tretower Court and Castle less than 3 miles away. Bring three of your canine companions with you on your rural retreat and explore the local landscapes together.

 

This charming barn is attached to the owner’s home but peace and privacy are ensured. The open-plan living space is the place to be and the lounge, kitchen and diner fit together perfectly to create a great communal area. The kitchen is compact but fully equipped, and has enough room for you to cook up a feast which can be served up at the table as you raise a glass at dinner time. Sink into the comfortable corner sofa and switch on the TV for a quiet night in. The wood burner sits in the feature fireplace, get it roaring to keep the chill at bay. Sort through the wide selection of DVDs and board games which promise to keep you entertained when you return from exploring your surroundings before you head upstairs to bed. Find yourself in the master double bedroom with its light airy feel then continue through this room to the bathroom and second bedroom. The second room can be made up as a super-king or a double and is a cosy spot in which to unwind. Sloping ceilings on the first floor add quirk and character, please take care. From the comfort of your bed, star gazers have a fantastic view of the dark skies through the sloping windows above.

 

Adventurers can lock away canoes and bikes in the storage provided so you can sleep feeling reassured that equipment is safe. Sip a mug of warming coffee or a glass of something cold in the enclosed courtyard with patio furniture. Enjoy sundowner evenings outside and fire up the BBQ for delicious feasts. Ample off-road parking is available at this property.

We had perfect holiday in this delightful cottage. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable, and the garden was perfect for our dog. The hosts were incredibly helpful and welcoming. The location was perfect, with walks starting on the doorstep if you dont fancy driving, and many others short drive away. Steve and Luke were the most welcoming hosts, from the freshly baked bread to the homemade birthday card they dropped off on my birthday! Their cottage is so lovely and cosy, with a wonderful outdoor space where we enjoyed a barbecue and sitting out in the sunshine. A very comfortable cottage, well equippedm the hostss were very helpful and the location was excellent for walking. There was everything from high level ridges to walks along the canal and river and all beautiful and quiet in mid May.

An outstanding stay in a beautiful spot nestled in the Brecon hills. Fantastic!! This cottage has everything you could possible need and more! It really felt like home from home and nothing was a problem. We received great information a week beforehand, detailing places to go, walks to do from the cottage and further a field, where to find takeaways, pubs, restaurants, supermarkets etc. The cottage is super dog frieRead morendly, with a secure garden, stair gates, dog washer and throws so the dog can join you on the sofa! Such a beautiful cottage in the heart of the Brecon Beacons. The cottage was very well thought out and fully equipped for everything that you could possibly need. Steve and Luke are thoughtful and caring hosts, even helping us out with the contents of their medicine cabinet when my son was unwell at 9pm on a Sunday. Very nice property with all amenities for us and the dog. Nice touch with the freshly baked bread on arrival but also helpful receiving the email stating that the property was ready early. Nothing was too much trouble.

The barn was perfectly equipped for everything we needed. The barn was homely and cosy . The garden was great for sunny afternoons and the fencing was as described fully secure for our dogs . Fantastic base .

Excellent accommodation with everything you require for a week away from home. Cosy cottage in quaint setting. Owners very friendly and accommodating, communication at all stages perfect. Lovely place for adventure especially for dog owners. The little enclosed garden is perfect. You can let them out first and last thing at night and know they are safe from escaping. Certainly saves putting on your coat and Welles. Very kind and knowledgeable hosts to!

Perfectly located to visit many of the local towns and attractions. For cyclists (who like hills) this is just perfect with a tremendous array of hills of varying length and severity. For dog lovers, there are some beautiful places to walk the dogs. Buckland Hill is GREAT. A nice circular walk where the dogs can run free. A little over 2 miles rounRead mored with stunning views.
