Step inside this unique home to a spacious open-plan living area, featuring original wooden floors and charming wood-panelled walls. The well-equipped kitchen, complete with an electric cooker, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, and fridge freezer, makes meal preparation a breeze. Outside the hall, down a few steps, you'll find a separate room with a WC and washing machine, ideal for drying off wet coats and muddy paws after a day of adventures. Step out through the double doors to enjoy stunning views of the Skirrid and Black Mountains from the spacious decked veranda. Your dogs will love the enclosed paddock located just across a narrow lane from the house, giving them plenty of space to run and play. In the evenings, light the fire pit and relax with a glass of something sparkling, all while soaking up the serene surroundings. The property also provides ample parking for multiple vehicles.

The Old Mission Hall was a warm and cosy retreat in the wet and windy days that we stayed there. Everything is spotlessly clean and it is well equipped with everything you could need. The view from the main bedroom was great each morning looking out over the Skirrid and watching the sunrise. We loved this little place. The location was isolated enough to feel like you are on your own, but you are not far from Abergavenny and a few neighbours (including a pub) nearby. We had a fantastic 4 night stay at The Old Mission Hall. It has everything you need, a super comfy bed and beautiful surroundings. Lovely touches like milk and wine in the fridge and biscuits too. Its ideally located for fabulous walks and the pub across the road is great. I would highly recommend this place.

Beautiful property, loved the covered porch and rocking chairs. The location has stunning views and the bonus of donkeys in the adjacent field. Lots of nice touches throughout this well equipped property.

A super quirky, beautifully renovated place to stay. It is in a great location for access to various walking paths, places to visit and sight see. Great accommodation in a beautiful area. Abergavenny just 10 minutes away for shopping, lovely river walks locally for the dogs, who loved their daily run around the paddock. Dog friendly pub across the road.. Couldn't fault anything. Would love to come back.

You will be pleasantly surprised when you arrive at The Old Mission Hall. The exterior does not do the interior justice, exceptional. Lovely setting, beautiful views and everything has been carefully thought out. Excellent pub across the road, stunning walks but still close enough to amenities. A perfect getaway surely to be repeated soon.

We loved our stay. Very clean, spacious and homely feeling. Fantastic that each bedroom has its own bathroom and a large kitchen/diner/living room. Very warm and cosy. We spent 4 nights at the Old Mission Hall with our kids and dog over new years and had a lovely time. The cottage is really nicely done with everything you need, in a beautiful quiet location. I was worried we would be cold but the gas fire heats the place up really fast. The location is great for both outdoorsy adventures and popping into AbergaveRead morenny for a stroll, with supermarkets nearby. The Crown pub across the road is a bonus too - great food in a cozy setting! Hide

The mission hall had all we needed for our stay and it was very warm for our time there just after Christmas. The kitchen has all you would need for your stay especially if you wanted to cook a full on meal and the beds are really comfy, the only downside is that the shower is not very powerful. I can't say much about the veranda regarding the viewRead mores as it was misty everyday as for the pub across the road I wouldn't recommend having a meal there as it was overpriced and not very good. We always enjoy our holidays at the mission hall. Lovely quiet location with wonderful views. The mission hall is comfortable, clean and welcoming. Our two dogs love having games in the small field opposite. A real retreat!

Excellent cottage, equipped with everything you need and very comfortable throughout We used the property to visit Abergavenny Food Festival and it was a nice walk into town and a short cab ride back. Fantastic views of the surrounding countryside, weather wasn't kind to us but could imagine it would be a great spot to look at the night sky The cloRead morese proximity of the Crown was a definite bonus for a pizza on Sunday Hide

Absolutely loved our stay at here, a perfect week away from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Superbly converted with every little detail thought of from a well equipped kitchen and rocking chairs on the veranda with fabulous mountain views to the utility room with washing machine. A really good, spacious, quiet and secluded cottage with a great garden and outside space to enjoy when the weather is good. There's a nice pub across the road and the cottage makes a good base for exploring the surrounding area with good walks straight from the front door.
