The area is very good for cycling with routes for both mountain bikes and road cyclists, with bike hire available in Brecon and Hay on Wye. Brecon has a small independent cinema too. Sennybridge is the closest town, best for the basics, head to Brecon for a proper Welsh town, complete with Cathedral, Regimental museum, cinema and mountaineering shops. Hay on Wye is a favourite, with heaps of independent stores and cafes. Explore the popular Dan yr Ogof caves nearby, or Big Pit for a cultural adventure, both of which are a great family day out. The Bull Pens are in a very rural part of Wales and ideal for those wanting to get away from it all! It is extremely well-equipped and has everything you need for cooking up a spread in the evening. It is very spacious and comfortable. Larger family groups can rent both the Bull Pens.

Extremely well equipped property. Clean and tidy. Games room a brilliant addition. We enjoyed the much needed peace and quiet, but plenty to do and see as well. Lovely play area for young children. I would highly recommend this property.

We hired the full cottage and had an amazing time, it was clean, well equipped and comfortable. There was a group of 5 adults and 2 children with age ranges from 9-90, and found there was things for everyone, the hat people search for game is a great laugh although not suitable for children! There is an owl nesting in the barn with the basket ball Read morehoop, the kids loved seeing such a lovely creature in the wild. Lovely comfortable and warm cottage with excellent facilities. The water is instantly hot, the shower has good power and the underfloor heating is really welcome in the winter. It keeps the house nice and warm. It's a great place to come back to after a cold winter walk and wet clothing can be easily dried.
