A charming stone cottage on farmland amid Welsh countryside, this two-bedroom property sleeps six and is ideal for friends and family wanting to explore the activity-filled local area. The cottage is located on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, an area renowned for being a natural playground for hiking, mountain biking, horse riding and white-water rafting. Also nearby are some excellent family-friendly attractions such as the National Showcaves Centre (8.5 miles), which includes multiple attractions, including the caves, dinosaur park, Iron Age village and Shire Horse Centre.

This lovely stone cottage is stylishly decorated to create a light, airy, and welcoming home. The ground floor has an elegant lounge with sofas and armchairs arranged around a wood burner and TV, the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring the countryside. A glass door opens onto the patio while several steps lead down to the kitchen. This fully equipped room is beautifully finished and includes a dining table with seating for six. Upstairs, you’ll find two bedrooms, beautifully decorated with pale tones and high-quality wooden furniture. One is a king-size bedroom, while the other is a family-style room with both a king-size and a double bed to sleep four people. A bathroom with a shower over the bath completes the cottage.

Outside is a private patio and a large flat lawn ideal for playing games or exercising dogs. A bubbling hot tub. In addition, guests are invited to explore the wider farm grounds, including a private stretch of the River Crai. They also have access to a shared games room with comfy seating, a pool table and table tennis.

Cottage was lovely but the conflicting/ nonsensical instructions are really confusing. Keri was very friendly and helpful.
