Enjoy a stay in the tranquil location of a hamlet just under 3 miles away from the beautiful Wye Valley where a wide range of adventures can be found, including the walking trail of Offa’s Dyke and the Gloucestershire way.

Upon entering the barn through the front door by the key safe you’re welcomed into the light and spacious living room.  Alternatively, access via the utility room where you can remove your coats and boots before heading through to the living room to relax. Open the French doors for direct access to the garden or get comfortable on one of the two sofas, unwinding in front of the TV by the charming feature fireplace. There is a second entrance to the property through the large, bright kitchen, where you’ll find everything you need to cook up a family meal, as well as a table to dine at. Completing the ground floor is a wet room equipped with a shower and WC for easy access. Upstairs there are two stylish king-size bedrooms boasting en-suite showers offering additional privacy during your stay. Finally, there is a modern family bathroom which overlooks the garden and enjoys a skylight to create a bright and airy space to make the most of the peace and quiet in the bathtub. Surrounding the barn you’ll find the enclosed garden with plenty of space for kids to play, as well as a raised terrace with a table, chairs, sun loungers and BBQ for outdoor entertainment.

Explore the Wye Valley (3 miles) whiling away your days between magnificent castles such as Raglan and Chepstow, or take a trip to Tintern Abbey to delve into the local history. The Wye Valley Walk spans 136-mile trails past the river, through the dramatic gorge and into ancient woodlands where you’ll be immersed in the natural beauty whilst a number of local eateries along the way make a perfect pit stop to refuel.

We were 2 couples looking for a well equipped , comfortable property that was a little "out of the way" . Pill Brook Barn had it all. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The owners left "extras" such as wine and cake and we were made very welcome. We were able to visit Tintern, Brecon Beacons, Abergavenny, Raglan, Cardiff , Monmouth and Chepstow withouRead moret having to travel great distances. Top quality furnishings, bedding etc. a nice large garden and peaceful surroundings . Highly recommended Hide

Delightful, extremely spacious, newly renovated barn, in quiet site - away from it all. Surrounded by lovely countryside with pretty/interesting walks from the door. Extremely well equipped, comfortable and in good weather beautiful outside decking area with bbq, perfect for dining out. However, despite being away from it all there are plenty of inRead moreteresting places to visit nearby eg Chepstow Castle, Tintern Abbey, Usk, Monmouth etc. We really enjoyed our stay and can highly recommend.
