The accommodation is within easy reach of the market towns of Brecon and Llandovery (14 miles).

The Afon Crai Valley is a paradise for walkers, with picturesque routes in every direction and the chance to spot a wide variety of rare wildlife, including the area’s famous red kites. Those looking for a challenge can take on Pen y Fan (13 miles), the highest peak in the national park. The climb is exhilarating, but you’ll be rewarded with jaw-dropping panoramic views. Just 5 miles away, is the small village of Sennybridge, where you can enjoy a hearty pub lunch after a long walk. From here, a scenic drive takes you into Waterfall Country – a must for the itinerary – with magical tree-lined gorges and thundering waterfalls.
