Set on the cusp of a quintessential rural hamlet, this single-level property is a haven for guests with a love for the outdoors, complete with a private hot tub for relaxing evenings under the stars.
Soak up the scenery, and the warmth of the hot tub, from the comfort of the decked terrace at this single-storey holiday home, close to Llandeilo’r-Fan. Up to six guests, and two four-legged friends, are welcome at this bright property, which is 4 miles from Sennybridge and the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park.
Enter the airy property to find a comfortable lounge, where you and your party can have film nights in front of the TV or pull open the glass doors to bring the outside in. Make your way into the kitchen, with its oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, to enjoy a cup of tea and a Welsh cake from your welcome pack. Prepare fabulous feasts then dish up in the dining room. Find a separate utility room, with a washing machine. There is also a family bathroom, with a bath, shower and WC. All three of the bedrooms are comfortable and inviting: one has been arranged with twin beds, while another has a generous double. The third bedroom has a king-size bed and a TV/DVD. Spill out into the large garden as often as possible. Take in the sweeping vistas towards the Brecon Beacons. Dine on the deck and enjoy a chilled glass of white wine in the hot tub. Find generous parking, and an outdoor utility room, with a WC and drying area.
Plan long walks from the front door and see if you can spot red kites in the skies above you as you go. Within 2 minutes walk you have the village pub Shoemakers Arms, where you can sit down to a tasty, traditional Welsh roast or drive 11 miles into Brecon for a choice of pubs and restaurants. Browse in the colourful shops and at the farmers’ market here and visit the cathedral.
