A beautifully renovated and spacious cottage, sleeping six people. Easily access walking routes from the doorstep and observe the stars in this Dark Skies Reserve.

Sitting in a Dark Skies Reserve close to quaint waterside towns and beautiful landmarks, escape to this pretty dwelling with family, friends and your dog. Perfectly located for exploring the Brecon Beacons National Park, its wood burner, open fire and bath make this bolthole a great place to unwind, cosy up, and soak the day away after hours in the great outdoors.

 

Step inside the flagstone hallway and through to the bright, spacious kitchen. Light and airy, the kitchen has a sleek yet characterful interior and is warmed by the wood burner which keeps the chill at bay. Sit down for a cup of tea at the breakfast bar or head into the lounge where a second traditional fireplace houses an open fire. If the sun is shining, enjoy some peace and quiet in the conservatory, home to two telescopes for stargazing, or make your way through the French doors and relax in the garden. The garden will keep guests of all ages entertained, a trampoline is great for little ones, and the patio is perfect for al fresco meals and cold tipples. When the evenings are cold, the dining table comfortably seats all guests so you can enjoy a sociable dinner before heading up to bed. The twin bedroom is treated to an en-suite shower room, whilst the double and king-size rooms have use of the family bathroom with double shower.

 

With a plethora of spectacular surroundings, throw on your boots and head straight to Mynydd Llangorse (2 miles), Llangorse Lake (2.5 mile), and Talybont-on-Usk (5.5 miles). The pretty village of Bwlch is a 2.5-mile trip from home, here, you can grab a bite to eat in a welcoming pub or enjoy one of the circular walks which all offer views in abundance.

This was the best property we have ever stayed in. It truly is a beautiful house with an amazing garden and views. WiFi fantastic which was important for our older sons. We were blessed with sunshine so used the garden lots inbetween trips out. I highly recommend Tower House.

The most comfortable holiday house we have ever stayed at. Large enough for lots of people but with the different spaces feels homely and cosy. The conservatory meant we could enjoy the lovely view and garden in all weathers. A fantastic house in a fantastic part of Wales. When we walked through the door for the first time, even the teenagers said 'wow' - so many original features blended beautifully with the conveniences of modern living. This really is the most idyllic cottage. So beautifully decorated and furnished, with stunning views all around. Everything has been so thoughtfully provided, whether in the kitchen or games provided for all ages. The location is excellent for exploring the Brecons. All in all 10/10. We hope to return again.

This is a very comfortable house to stay in. It was well equipped and extremely clean with a lovely big garden which we enjoyed in the late afternoon sun and also did the dog with an open view at the back , would definitely recommend a stay at the tower house we visited lots of different locations from here.

Truly wonderful, atmospheric house. Beautiful location, very well stocked in all respects. Great selection of games and puzzles. Noteworthy bookshelves that we would have loved to have had time to work our way through the contents of. Very sad to leave but hope to return in the near future.

We had a wonderful holiday at Tower House. The cottage was spacious & well equipped in a beautiful location, we definitely switched off. The bedrooms were comfortable & large. Absolutely stunning property, it will stay in my heart always. So many indoor and outdoor games available that we were always entertained. And beautiful walks from the house. Lovely house and great scenery, very clean, had every thing we needed. Lots of walks, castles and towns to visit. The children enjoyed the garden and there were plenty of areas to sit in the house so we could have our own space after a day of family fun.

Lovely cottage with beautiful garden and surrounding countryside with excellent off-road parking. The large conservatory was perfect for relaxing in and enjoying the view. We all had a great time at Tower House.

I would highly recommend this property. It was well equipped, close, but not too close, to places of interest and had wonderful views from the garden. There was an unexpected welcome pack which was a lovely touch. I would certainly book it again if in the area.

The pictures don't do it justice. Our stay was fantastic. The house is beautifully furnished and the kitchen is generously stocked. The shower was good and the bed was comfortable. Even simple touches such as handwash and the welcome basket were great. There were a couple of issues but these were speedily resolved. Tower House is an amazing beautiful large property and garden, fully equipped with everything you could ever need on holiday on more. Its in a great location for lots of family activities such as climbing, walking and horse riding. Our family holiday there was fabulous and the owners were so helpful and welcoming.
