One of the best large cottages we've stayed in. So much space with the 3 kitchens, large dining room and large comfortable lounge. Great setting overlooking the valley, walkable to Hay (slightly soggy in February though) and a short drive to some lovely Black Mountains walks from Gospel Pass. We were made very welcome by the owner of the house which proved to be ideal for a great Christmas for our large family. We also enjoyed the stunning scenery, trips to Hay-on-Wye, Hereford and nearby activities. We'd be very happy to go back there.

This is a beautiful property in a lovely location. 40 minute cross country walk to Hay on Wye was perfect. We loved the view from the fire pit behind the house. Super comfortable, cleans and very well equipped. Highly recommended for a group get together.

We were a multi-generational family (8 months - 83 plus 2 dogs) gathered to celebrate a 60th birthday. The accommodation was great for us. We appreciated the 3 kitchens, the table that seated us all, the balcony with its views and the fire pit which got regular use. The cottage had everything you could want and more. We had a fabulous weekend at the Meeting House and highly recommend it. It is a lovely old building in a quiet rural location with beautiful views and walks from the door, but only a short drive into the pretty town of Hay on Wye. Loved this place. Weve stayed in a few rentals, but this was by far the best equipped for kitchen equipment. The owners very helpful with the few queries we had. The place has loads of flexibility with sleeping arrangements too. Would I go again with a large group - absolutely!!

A really lovely place to stay and perfect for a big group. Plenty of space so you dont get in each others way but also big enough rooms that you can all socialise comfortably. We had all 3 cottages and they were all fantastic, very well equipped. Lovely little touches like boxes of herbs and spices in each kitchen . We had a fantastic family weekend , there was 17 of us in total , brilliant games rooms for the kids , lots of crockery pots pans and serving dishes . The only negative is ,the heating seemed to go off FridayRead more night around 11 , so the bedrooms were cold , and the settees I think the springs had gone so were hard to get off . What a fabulous place for a break. The property is well laid out and full of everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The house had everything we needed for a family holiday, and was the perfect location to explore Wales from. The kids loved climbing the 'mountain' next door and grown-ups loved enjoying the stunning views from the balcony. The kitchens were really well equipped and perfect for catering for groups!

With the three cottages interlinking, this was a perfect setting for our family gathering. My five adult children and partners and children met my husband and I for a week. The kitchens were really well stocked and high chairs and travel cots available for the grandkids. The fact that the properties were dog friendly was the icing on the cake. We needed a big property for a large family gathering which accepted 3 dogs and we were very pleased with this huge cottage. It was also a real hit with the children who enjoyed games of hide-and-seek. The good weather helped and we were able to sit out on the terrace and watch the red kites - amazing!
