The cottage was comfortable and roomy and had everything needed for what could have been a perfect holiday. Unfortunately there were roadworks on the road that reached the cottage which meant no access for cars for most of the day. The only other access by the diversion was completely unsuitable for cars in our opinion so we were unable to explore Read morethe wider area as much as we would have liked, instead we walked only in the local area. Response from HolidayCottages.co.uk ~ Thank you for your feedback. We are glad you found the cottage comfortable and well-equipped. We are sorry your stay was affected by unexpected local roadworks, which were unfortunately outside of our control. We have been advised that these works are now completed. We do hope you were still able to enjoy the cottage and the local area. Hide

We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary at Cusop Mill Cottage with our family - a total of six adults, one child, two babies and two dogs. The accommodation was more than adequate - plenty of space both inside and out. The cottage was well equipped and beautifully furnished. 6 of us, and 1 dog, stayed at the old mill for our yearly friends get together. We had a fabulous time, the facilities suited our needs and was perfectly situated for walkers of all levels, as well as being an easy picturesque walk to the town centre for shopping, eating and drinking - so no concerns about having to drive. Compared to other dog friRead moreendly places, we have stayed, there was not a plethora of do's and don'ts which added to us being able to relax and enjoy our stay. Hide

A perfect little cottage for our family stay. Very traditional and characterful but beautifully decorated and clean. Walking distance to Hay but also lots of countryside walks from the doorstep. So many waterfalls. Wish we had a longer stay so may well book again. Very friendly owners on the Mill House next door.

Lovely cosy home with a lot of character. EXACTLY the right walking distance from Hay, along a nice easy part of Offa's Dyke path. You might need to light the lounge fire at this time of year.
