We are delighted to welcome this charming cottage into our exclusive Joules Collection. The brand’s signature style is peppered throughout the property, particularly in the king-size bedroom which features soft, Joules bedding and an accent chair.

Set on a family farm within Brecon Beacons National Park, this detached cottage offers uninterrupted views across the Black Mountains. Sleeping four people over two bedrooms and offering increased accessibility, it’s the ideal accommodation option for small families or groups of friends who enjoy chic, contemporary living in the heart of the countryside. Explore waymarked paths right from your doorstep, and when you get home, take a dip in the private hot tub and soak up those incredible mountain views. Step inside the entrance hall and you’ll be met by wonderful landscape views from the glass corridor that leads you to the spacious open-plan living area/kitchen/diner. This social space is perfect if you like to chat as you’re cooking dinner, and the large patio doors allow you to enjoy views while you cook and eat. Alternatively, head outside, light up the BBQ and dine alfresco in the patio area. After dinner, take a well-earned dip in the private hot tub, or relax in front of the wood burner in the living area. When the day is done, there’s one bedroom on the ground floor and one on the first floor to choose from. Take a stroll at Longtown Castle, which is practically on your doorstep. This 12th-century keep was built on the site of a Roman fort that was home to a 500-strong cohort of infantry. For a day out with a difference, go ‘llama trekking’ at Old King Street Farm (5.5 miles). The llamas there will be delighted to accompany you on a gentle walk through the fields and down to the village of Ewyas Harold. Or make your way to Goytre Wharf (15.5 miles), where you can hire a canoe and paddle along the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal.

Where do we begin! We have totally fallen for this beautifully renovated cottage and its utterly idyllic location. The owners could not be more helpful or friendly and the welcome hamper, and additional free range eggs were such a lovely addition to our stay. If you are looking for peace and relaxation this is the place. A well thought out clean cottage with lovely veiws and no noise (except for an occasional moo or baa). We have been holiday cottaging for many years as this has been the best so far. A well thought out, stylish cottage with a lovely hot tub with a view. What more do you need.

Penydre Farm Cottage is a wonderful cottage in a great location, with exceptional hosts. The cottage is superbly clean, will equipped, comfortable, with fantastic views and great hosts. The welcome pack is amazing. This is our second visit and it felt like coming home. I was sorry to leave and will definitely go back.

Absolute gem of a find. Its tucked away, but that is part of the charm. Atmospheric location with 4 seasons in one stay! Retire to the hot-tub, even in a snow storm. Absolutely amazing cottage. Best we have stayed in. Jo and Rob the owners were so attentive, very helpful, kept checking we were happy and had no problems. This is a fabulous well equipped cottage, especially for a walking holiday. We could walk from the door every day and there was a great utility room for the days when we had wet outdoor clothes. Great local owners at the farm next door. Good local shop and old fashioned pub.

A stunning place to stay! The views are jaw dropping and the patio and hot tub are great spots from which to enjoy them. The large flat lawn is lovely for games. We had a fantastic week at the cottage with unbelievable weather. The cottage is very luxurious and you will be spoilt with amazing views and sunsets over the black mountain.
