Set in 17 acres of glorious, undulating farmland on the border of England and Wales, this tranquil haven sleeps two guests plus a pair of dogs, making it a superb, romantic retreat. Settle into an exciting, eco stay, complete with a wood burner for cosy nights in and a fire pit for nights out under starry skies. Return home from country walks to bubble in the hot tub and cook out on the campfire. Get close to nature and choose to go off-grid during your stay at this exquisite holiday home. Climb the steps up to the wooden wagon to find it encompasses a cosy sleeping area, as well as kitchen space, with a small gas oven and hob, sink and cold storage. Gaze out at the Black Mountains while you dine, then heat the water for the dishes on the hob before enjoying your evening. Warm the wagon up with the wood burner on chilly evenings before heading to bed. Find your camp has solar panels, a gas-heated shower and an environmentally friendly compost WC. Discover there is parking for one car with this accommodation. Enjoy the freedom of the farm, on which the owners also live: see the horses and donkeys and take a dip at a peaceful, wild swimming spot. Walk approximately 2 miles from the holiday home to reach the edge of the Beacon Beacons, with its myriad of footpaths and walking routes. Plan days out to Hay-on-Wye, about 7 miles away, with its colourful cafes, pubs, independent stores and bookshops.

Myself and my partner had a beautiful stay at the wagon, for 3 nights for my birthday. We wish we could have stayed longer and if we do come back, will certainly extend the stay! We had an amazing time at DreamCatcher Wagon. The wagon was so cute and cosy with all the essential items needed for a weekend away. Sue was an amazing host, very warm and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The surrounding area is absolutely beautiful, a perfect view of the Black Mountains and a great spot for star gazing at night.

Beautiful location, hidden away so completely private. Very dog friendly(we took two). Nice local pub in walking distance with beautiful food. Lovely Shepherd hut with all amenities. Sue was lovely and friendly and very helpful. Just be mindful you are off grid, so no phone charger! No plugs, take an external battery charger(if needed).

Our stay in the Dreamcatcher wagon was an absolutely amazing experience! Living completely off-grid was surprisingly liberating, allowing us to disconnect and fully immerse ourselves in nature. The location is perfect and you couldn't be closer to the stunning scenery, with breathtaking views that are all yours to enjoy. Just spent 7 days at this beautiful rustic wagon. If you need to switch off and recharge this is the place. Sue really looked after us making sure we had everything we needed. We stayed here for 2 nights and loved it. The wagon is a beautiful little place to stay and we felt very comfortable there. It was very peaceful and great for a little break to reset! What an amazing place to spend a couple of nights - a great secluded spot to convince you that your are the only people in the world, and a cosy set-up with a surprising amount of space in the wagon. The hot-tub is a beautiful feature, especially on a clear night, detached shower and compost toilet add to the rugged feel but the shower gets nice anRead mored warm. Absolutely beautiful! We needed a weekend to chill and get away from life for a bit and we feltnfully refreshed and much happier after! Hopefully we will be back in the summer! If you don't need a room service, if you don't mind horses grazing steps away from your cabin, if you don't mind your car is parked uphill one hundred yards away... a Dreamcatcher wagon is a perfect stay. Beautifully peaceful location to unwind with the dog. Great facilities and location with a simple short drive to Hay-on-Wye. Host was very friendly and helpful and to cap it all off staying helps keep the sanctuary they run going.

This really is a stunning getaway. Unbelievably peaceful, astounding views and even more comfortable than expected. We loved our stay at The Gypsy Wagon for bank holiday weekend. It's a short (but steep and muddy when it's wet) walk from the car but it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Lovely cosy place with the stove lit. Nice comfy bed and great view of the stars from the hot tub. If you're visiting in cold weather make sure to leave plenty of time to heat the hot tub. We kept the fire box stoked and it took three hours and a whole sack of logs to get up to temperature. It was worth it though :)

Absolute bliss; I thoroughly enjoyed myself in pure peace and serenity. It is a break from the rat race, strolling down to the river every morning. I would advise if going; something to cut wood, battery packs, and a sketch pad.

Despite going at one of the coldest times of year this trip was one of the most memorable I have ever had. Me and my partner absolutely loved it here.
