Of course, being on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park means you will be able to easily access the many walking routes of the area. Less than 1 mile away is Ystradgynlais, which has facilities such as a shop and pub. Hop in the car and head to the National Showcaves Centre for Wales (6.5 miles), a 17-kilometre-long cave system that can be explored. If you have children with you, they’ll love the Dinosaur Park here, too. Just 15 miles away is the popular city of Swansea, with a large range of shops, pubs, restaurants and nightlife. Just outside of the city are the wonderful beaches of Mumbles and the Gower. Spend a day soaking up the sun with a picnic or hop on a surfboard.
