Brecon Beacons cottages with ground floor and disabled access
For those with limited mobility, and those who would feel more comfortable in accommodation that removes the unnecessary stress of things like steps and staircases, self-catering accessible cottages and holiday bungalows are home-from-home environments that you can feel secure in. Take a look at our collection of holiday homes with ground floor facilities and discover charming cottages with bedrooms, bathrooms and other cosy rooms on one level for a relaxed and easy holiday. There are some holiday cottages with wet rooms, as well as cottages with wheelchair access – we have a wide selection with a variety of situations so that you can find what’s best for you. Please note that some of the cottages featured may have steps to access the property and are not all suitable for wheelchair users, so please call the team to ensure suitability so we can tailor the experience to you.
Complementing our ground floor cottages and cottages with disabled access are a range of attractions in and around the Brecon Beacons National Park, with varying degrees of accessibility. For those who want to get outdoors and experience the trails of the Brecon Beacons, there are a number of Easier Access Walks so you can discover the beautiful landscape. Spend a day at Brecon Mountain Railway, which is a fantastic way to see the landscape of the national park from a new perspective. Board the train at Pant, where the station also boasts easy access to its restaurant and gift shop. The journey will take you past the length of Taf Fechan Reservoir, and then makes the climb to the summit at Torpantau. On the return journey, there’s an additional stop at Pontsticill on the way back down. Start browsing our accessible Brecon Beacons cottages and find the perfect holiday escape today.
