Inside, this traditional Welsh farmhouse is cosy and charming, with wooden floorboards, antique furniture and lots of natural light streaming in through large sash windows. Prepare delicious meals in the delightful kitchen, where you will find a large Range oven together with a Welsh dresser and farmhouse-style table in the centre. Dine in the kitchen or take to the grand table in the spacious lounge/diner, before firing up the wood burner and settling down on one of the inviting sofas. In the mornings, the magnificent sunroom makes a pleasant reading space and opens onto the patio.
Hidden just below the Tor y Foel mountain and forest, this scenic area is a walker’s paradise. With its valleys, lakes, rivers, mountains and forests, you will be spoilt for choice when it comes to exploring the fantastic Brecon Beacons. Once you have finished discovering the area by land, take to the water with a boat ride along the nearby River Usk or head for the picturesque Talybont Reservoir (2 miles). At the end of an active day, choose between the three pubs in the local village of Talybont on Usk, just 1 mile from the property.
