Welcome to the Brecon Beacons & the Black Mountains!

In the last couple of weeks it's finally warmed up.  There's not a hint of snow on the peaks, wild flowers are everywhere, and we're all enjoying getting outdoors without wearing our snow suits!

We've had a busy few months and have some lovely new cottages in our collection.  There are some sweet little cottages, such as Apple Bough Cottage near Hay, and some large spacious cottages, such as Upper Penlan.  And... look out over the next month or so for a new section of the website showing neighbouring cottages - perfect for groups of friends and families.

There is so much going on in the area at the moment.  It's just a month until Hay Festival, and they have an action-packed programme.  Noah and the Whale, Dara O'Briain, John McCarthy, Cath Kidston, Cristy Moore, Sebastian Faulks, to name but a few of my favourite.  Definitely book tickets now, as they're selling fast!

And Hay Festival is just one of a fantastic season of events.  Brecon Jazz, The Green Man Festival, Abergavenny Food Festival, as well as smaller ones such as Medicines May - at the National Botanic Gardens of Wales, and if you're looking for a challenge the Brecon Beacons is a good place to come! Have a look at the cycling sportifs, ultra marathons and triathlons in the area this summer.  There is something for everyone!
