Myddfai

This small village in Camarthenshire is cloaked in mystery and magic and is the setting of many tales of myth and legend, including The Lady of the Lake and The Physicians of Myddfai. The village is on the western edge of the Brecon Beacons, surrounded by stunning scenery and lush farmland and is a great base for exploring this beautiful part of Wales.

Myddfai has a vibrant community centre with an arts and crafts gallery and shop, a café serving local produce and homemade cakes and a hall and meeting room used for weddings and events. The centre was built and partly funded through the Big Lottery Village SOS scheme and as a result was featured on the BBC. The centre was opened by Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall, in 2011.
