Cantref is a small community made up largely of scattered hill farms and a few houses in the Brecon Beacons National Park. The hamlet centres around the pretty church of St Cynidr and St Mary but is more widely known for the popular Cantref Adventure Farm and Riding Centre.
This area is a magnet for keen mountain bikers, with some of the best off-road cycling around, but if cycling is not your thing there’s no shortage of other activities, including horse riding, walking and bird watching, available nearby.
