Willow Cottage is a beautiful barn conversion with exposed stone walls and wonderful character beams throughout.  A great place for the family to escape to, or for a romantic getaway.  Perfect base for exploring the area with excellent hill-walking and mountain biking, close to National Cycle routes and gliding (Gliding Club is 5 minutes away).  Willow Cottage has walks straight from the door, with a footpath in front of the cottage  leading onto the Black Mountains.   There is a brook running in front of the property so you can enjoy a paddle.

Willow Cottage is a great place to enjoy the countryside but not too far away from amenities. Talgarth is just a few miles away where there's a working mill and bakery with an excellent cafe which overlooks the river. The town is also home to an award winning butchers.  In the other direction is the Georgian town of Crickhowell where there are independent shops, coffee shops, restaurants and an art gallery.

Crickhowell is the proud winner of the best British High Street, 2018. It's steeped in history, has almost entirely independent (and excellent) shops, really good pubs and restaurants and award winning cafes. The bustling high street runs down to the idyllic river with it's historic bridge over to the neighbouring village of Llangattock. Crickhowell is a great base for outdoor enthusiasts, with fantastic cycling and walking in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons. To top it all, there's an annual music festival, The Green Man, just outside the town. Read more about Crickhowell
