This Welsh stone farmhouse is in a secluded and private location with walks from the door to the nearby Brecon Beacons National Park Visitor Centre. Lovingly furnished and decorated to an extremely high standard with a great attention to detail at every point.
This is a paradise for children with various animals in some of the fields, there are pigs, goats, sheep and chickens which roam freely in the fields below the house and are very friendly. The owner will check on these regularly.

Kitchen The most attractive kitchen, with life revolving around a large kitchen table, has a fine "Racing Car Green" Aga for cooking, a microwave, a Smeg dishwasher, Aga fridge and freezer, a separate wine/beer fridge, TV with a large farmhouse kitchen table and ample seating.
This leads onto the utility room which contains a Belfast sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.
The downstairs cloakroom has a corner shower with waterfall shower head, toilet and hand basin.
The snug little room is perfect for kids, has a leather sofa and chairs, wood burner and TV.
The main sitting room has oak floors and lovely views, is spacious and has a generous luxurious corner sofa, chairs, large wood burning stove and a TV with DVD & Sky Freesat.

Pengarn has a huge and private under cover hot tub and a wonderful heated outdoor swimming pool (17m by 7m), (Summer use only) close to the house - so easy to keep an eye on children.
The owners will be making daily visits to check the pool and hot tub to ensure the pH levels of these are always correct. They will also check and feed the animals.
The ample outside space has a big undercover area perfect for boots and bikes, and a pretty decked balcony overlooking the fields below with table and chairs and BBQ; there are wonderful views across the Senni Valley.

The National Park Visitor Centre and Tea Rooms is less than half a mile away at Libanus (a short walk), for all your local information, maps, guides, books, gifts and arts and crafts. The Tea Rooms offer breakfast, lunch, snacks and drinks.
Defynnog is 4 miles away with the Tanners Arms; it offers local ales and food and has an excellent reputation for hospitality. It also has a CAMRA Real Ale award and has previously been Pub of The Year. Sennybridge is 5 miles away with a shop, post office and garage. The Usk Inn at Talybont on Usk just 10 miles away serves local food and is run by the owners.
Brecon is a ten minute drive with plenty of choice in food shopping, as well as pubs, restaurants and cafes; this area is of course wonderful for all kinds of outdoor pursuits. Energetic visitors can walk, mountain bike, horse ride or trek, paraglide, climb, cave and canoe; others can enjoy easy, gentle walks surrounding the house - walk to the ancient iron age fort perched on the hilltop of Twyn y Gaer, spotting the many different species of birds. Just across the common there are two Sites of Special Interest for 'wet land and wild life habit' there always appear to be a lovely mass of wild flowers on the lanes around the Common where there are ponies and sheep grazing.
Enjoy visits to places like Hay-on-Wye, Brecon Cathedral or Talgarth Mill. Children love Llangorse Lake, which has water sports on offer, as well as a bird reserve. Alternatively there is Brynich Play Barn or Cantref Adventure Farm just outside Brecon for rainy days.

A friendly cathedral town in the lee of the mountains with the rivers Usk and Honddu running through. For a small town, there's a lot going on. A leisure centre with a pool, 1930s style cinema, excellent theatre and plenty of shops and cafes. On the outskirts of the town are popular villages including Llangorse with it famous lake, Cantref with its popular adventure farm, Talybont, well known as a walking and cycling hub and Felin Fach, home of The Griffin, a highly acclaimed pub and restaurant.
