Spill out into the lawned garden to dine in the fresh air and watch the children run around enjoying the gardens. There is generous parking at the house.
Pull on your hiking boots and enjoy a 2-mile walk to Allt Mountain, with its Iron Age fortress. Drive 3 miles to Llangorse, where you can take part in water sports on the lake and go horse-riding and climbing at an activity centre. Potter in Brecon, 5 miles away: buy local produce at the farmers’ market, visit the cathedral and enjoy a meal out.
