Steps Cottage dating back to the 1800's is a pretty little cottage ideally positioned less than 200m from the centre of the attractive market town of Crickhowell and approximately 300m from Bullpit Meadows on the banks of the River Usk. Steps Cottage is the perfect location for capturing the heritage and history of Crickhowell whilst enjoying the excellent local cafes, restaurants and independent shops. The cottage provides a cosy, relaxing base for those exploring the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and surrounding area with a private enclosed garden and a little summer house.

The efficient and newly hand built kitchen has an electric oven and hob, fridge freezer, microwave etc. Views out across to the river meadows and the hills beyond.
Visitors step into the cosy living room with a wood burning stove, sofa and chairs and a dining table. Throughout the cottage there are some lovely pieces of painted furniture and a great many prints and painting by local artists.
Downstairs cloakroom with toilet and hand basin.
A back door leads out to the terraced garden and summer house.

Bedroom 2: This room can either be twin beds or a King-Size bed. Views from here over towards Table Mountain.

An enclosed pretty terraced garden with a little raised pond and fountain, a sun room - the perfect place for a bit of quiet reading and with views over to Llangattock Mountain.

Crickhowell is the proud winner of the best British High Street, 2018. It's steeped in history, has almost entirely independent (and excellent) shops, really good pubs and restaurants and award winning cafes. The bustling high street runs down to the idyllic river with it's historic bridge over to the neighbouring village of Llangattock. Crickhowell is a great base for outdoor enthusiasts, with fantastic cycling and walking in the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons.
