Rodell's Barn is a romantic and contemporary barn with a king size bed and large picture windows to be able to enjoy the lovely views up to The Black Mountains. Close to the attractive "town of books" Hay-on-Wye and over looked by it's ancient castle. From the barn footpaths lead from the door straight on to the hills or an easy drive into Hay for a relaxing day browsing the shops and sampling the many cafes and pubs - or for something more strenuous hiring a canoe on the River Wye, or perhaps a Vespa Scooter from River Cafe and Wye Valley Canoes in Glasbury. Drovers Cycles have a great selection of Mountain Bikes to be able to explore the surrounding area.
Sleeps 2 - Super King-Size bed
An open plan kitchen/living room with beautiful flagstone floor, a newly installed kitchen with electric oven and hob, fridge, small freezer, dishwasher and microwave. The utility cupboard under the stairs houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is plenty of room with comfortable sofas and a wood burner, TV with Freeview & DVD.
Double glass doors lead out to a sunny patio area with garden furniture and a BBQ.
Bedroom: A spacious and luxurious Super King Size bedroom with full length windows that can be opened up allowing guests to fully enjoy the views over the Black Mountains.
The bathroom: has a bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.

Hay on Wye is renowned for its annual literary festival, but there's more to Hay than that. It is a pretty and bustling town at the foot of the majestic Black Mountains with the river Wye running through. The town is crammed with boutiques and book shops, with excellent restaurants and cafes. There's an independent cinema, a castle and a thriving arts scene.
