Usk is a very pretty, thriving and prosperous small market town on the Banks of The River Usk and set around the market square. The town is spanned by the ancient and picturesque stone Usk bridge with Usk Castle as the backdrop to the town.  For keen fishermen there is excellent fishing available and Sweets the long established fishing tackle shop is close to the cottage. The regular Farmers markets and agricultural shows are always of interest. With quaint cobbled streets and interesting building, several excellent caf?s, pubs and restaurants for refreshment, craft, clothes and antique shops this is a lovely place to wander around.
