Extensive grounds

There are extensive grounds, sweeping lawns, the old Victorian rose and walled gardens, riverside and woodland walks and a  beech hedge 'Green Man Maze' planted in 2000. The family are very happy for people to wander and explore the grounds during their stay. Penpont is a unique place to spend a holiday or have a short break with a group of friends or family.

Buy fresh organic vegetables

The walled gardens have been registered with The Soil Association for over 5 years and guests can buy fresh organic vegetables direct from the gardens. Penpont has installed a renewable energy heat system powered by bio-mass. The wood chips are sourced from Penpont woodlands and the boiler heats the main house, Courtyard Wing and all outbuildings.
