Old school house formally the headmaster's house of Trecastle School. It's full of character, beautifully furnished and set just off the main road in Trecastle, within easy walking distance to The Castle Coaching Inn and the very interesting antiques centre.

Trecastle is a small hamlet and is a five minute drive to Sennybridge and a twenty minute drive to the market towns of Brecon and Llandovery.

A great place to stay if you are exploring the National Park - easy to reach Waterfall Country and Dan-yr-Ogof caves and there are plenty of scenic drives to enjoy.  Old School House is a good base for exploring the Forest Fawr Geopark, travelling to Swansea and the South Wales valleys.

A friendly cathedral town in the lee of the mountains with the rivers Usk and Honddu running through. For a small town, there's a lot going on. A leisure centre with a pool, 1930s style cinema, excellent theatre and plenty of shops and cafes. On the outskirts of the town are popular villages including Llangorse with it famous lake, Cantref with its popular adventure farm, Talybont, well known as a walking and cycling hub and Felin Fach, home of The Griffin, a highly acclaimed pub and restaurant.
