Failte meaning "Welcome" in Irish is a very comfortable and contemporary style bungalow with two large bedrooms and bathrooms set down a quiet cul-de-sac in the small village of Llangorse. The bungalow has the most glorious panoramic views over Llangorse Lake to The Brecon Beacons. The large garden has a pretty summer house - with comfy sofas a rather nice hide-out for teenagers; several different sitting areas in the garden and backing onto fields.

The bungalow is only a few minutes' walk to the two local pubs in the village and a comfortable walk to Llangorse Lake, this is the largest natural lake in southern Britain. There are ponies and sheep grazing in the water meadows and a pleasant cafe. Boats can be hired either for pleasure or for the plenty of coarse fishing. The Lake is a naturalists dream with many rare species of visiting birds - whether passing through during the winter or nesting amongst the reed and water lilies in the summer and Spring.

Sleeps 4 - 1 Super King Size (zip link can be a twin), 1 Double

The bungalow has a generous entrance hallway.

The kitchen is very well equipped with a range cooker and with a double oven and an induction hob, a microwave, dishwasher, large American style fridge and freezer with an iced water cooler.

A dining table and bench seating,  patio doors open out onto the large enclosed garden.

The very spacious sitting area has dual aspect - views over the garden to the Brecon Beacons and beyond and out to the Black Mountains behind the bungalow; there are sofas and chairs, a wood burning stove and a large TV with  SKY family package & DVD.

Bedroom 1:   The Master Bedroom has a Super King size bed or if preferred this can be split to make matching twin beds.

Bedroom 2:   A bedroom with a double bed.

The very spacious bathroom has a bath with a rain style shower over the bath, hand basin and toilet.

The separate shower room has shower cubicle, hand basin and toilet.

A door from the kitchen leads through to a secure garage/ utility room with a washing machine and a separate tumble dryer. There is also plenty ofroom for wet coats, boots and dogs. This is very large and secure and there is plenty of room to store cycles, canoes, motor bikes etc.

This bungalow is a really lovely and peaceful place to stay with a safe enclosed private garden, a large lawn and plenty of places to sit to enjoy the view or to sit quietly reading - the lawn is plenty big enough for children to kick a ball around, for a game of croquet. In a sheltered corner of the garden is a BBQ.

At the bottom of the garden is a pretty painted summer house - the perfect place to enjoy the great views - whether an artist, writer or someone who just wants to relax and enjoy the peace and quiet - the sunsets over The Beacons are absolutely magnificent.

This is an ideal place to stay whether you just want a relaxing holiday, whether you are a mountain biker or a walker (serious or for pleasure), pony trekker or a serious rider - everything is on the door step.

Anyone with children or teenagers keen on ponies and riding or any type of outdoor pursuit, there is the award winning Llangorse Pony Trekking Centre and Climbing Wall just a five minutes' walk away.

Acorn Activity Centre is also on the outskirts of the village if visitors happen to have children who are staying there doing activities and wish to be near them.
