Carno Farmhouse is a delightful, traditional stone farmhouse set with three beautifully restored 17th century barns, offering walking straight up onto The Brecon Beacons. The farmhouse is spacious and comfortable with very welcoming owners, it is less than 5 miles from the market town of Brecon and 2 miles from the village of Libanus - where the local Tai'r Bull Inn offers good home cooked food. Carno Farm has glorious views and is tucked under the west side of Pen-y-Fan in the centre of The Brecon Beacons National Park. The farmhouse has 5 acres of land with footpaths which lead straight from the door onto the Beacons and fantastic views of Carno Woods, the Gyrn and Craig Cerrig Gleisiad. Fishing is available on the River Glyn Tarrell just down the lane.

Large living room features oak beams, large open fireplace with woodburning stove and stone spiral staircase. There are several lovely pieces of period furniture and a working harmonium.

It has a fully fitted well-equipped kitchen with oak units, electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher fridge/ freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer in communal drying room. The dining/sitting room has a dining table, chairs, sofa, Sky Freesat TV, DVD, music centre,wifi, oak beams and attractive stone fireplaces. A selection of books, magazines, games, CDs and DVDs.
A wooden staircase leads up to the bedrooms and second bathroom which feature exposed oak beams.

A friendly cathedral town in the lee of the mountains with the rivers Usk and Honddu running through. For a small town, there's a lot going on. A leisure centre with a pool, 1930s style cinema, excellent theatre and plenty of shops and cafes. On the outskirts of the town are popular villages including Llangorse with it famous lake, Cantref with its popular adventure farm, Talybont, well known as a walking and cycling hub and Felin Fach, home of The Griffin, a highly acclaimed pub and restaurant.
