A lovely, well equipped house in a stunning location. Well off the beaten track and beautifully quiet, it is the perfect spot to rest and reset. The only sounds are sheep and the birds. Very isolated cottage. Its at the end of a very long and potholed track with 3 gates to negotiate. But there is total privacy, peace and quiet. A few sheep wander past occasionally. This is a very old house that must have a long history which would be wonderful to read about. The house is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. We had a lovely few days in the cottage. So remote, quiet and peaceful. It was a good base to explore the area without having to venture out in the car. The shop in the nearby village was adequately stocked for our simple needs. Plenty of walks around, mountains to climb, streams to splash in and a nice grassy area to play games in. Amazing location - remote but perfect if you are looking for peace and quiet. Property is well equipped. There is wi-fi but can be variable in speed - but I would expect this given the location. Short walk to the Washpool - great space to swim and paddle - dog loved it! Friendly farmer next door and friendly local sheep! Bird watching is excellent.Read more There is nothing that the local garage shop doesn't stock - 15 min drive to main supermarket. The Trout Inn (Beulah) - great meals and very friendly. Hide
