Bridge House is a delightful Georgian townhouse in bustling Crickhowell recently voted Best High Street in Britain.  It's spacious, luxurious and full of quirky charm.  This deceptively huge holiday house is perfect for a family or group getaway. It has 4 bedrooms with up to 8 beds (including a day bed, trundle bed and fold out bed which would be perfect for children), loads of living space, with a beautifully equipped kitchen, 2 sitting rooms and a games room.    The sweet garden has two original outbuildings, one with an additional luxurious shower room, and one with a utility room.

This would be a great place to stay if you are attending an event in Cardiff whether the Rugby, Football or an event at St David's Hall or The Millenium Stadium - it is less than an hour's drive.

In nearby ABergavenny they have the annual Abbergavenny Festival of Cycling - this year being held on the weekend of the 29th June 2019. Really worth for all bike lovers. https://www.abergavennyfestivalofcycling.co.uk/index.php/34-afoc-team-news/322-festival-starts-our-2019-news

From this Crickhowell holiday cottage, it's a two minute walk to the independent shops and many good pubs and restaurants.  It's a short walk down to the River Usk and the waterside meadows, and there are cracking footpaths in and around Crickhowell and neighbouring Llangattock. Close by you can explore the Black Mountains and Brecon Beacons as well as the River Usk.  Outdoor enthusiasts will love the fishing, canoeing, climbing, golf, hang-gliding, horse riding and mountain biking.

Accommodation

Sleeps up to 10 people in 4 bedrooms.

Kitchen: The basement kitchen has been opened up to ensure there is plenty of light. The original flagstone floors now have underfloor heating.  It's a warm, welcoming and sociable room to gather around the long table at meal times. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to cook a special meal for a group of friends or family; an electric double oven range cooker with a gas hob, a large "American style" fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.

Games Room: At the back of the kitchen there is little games room with an air hockey table for children - this is always very popular with guests.

Sitting Rooms: On the ground floor are two sitting rooms both with beautiful, original, wide dark oak floor- boards giving the house a feeling of warmth and the fine old period of the property.

The first sitting room has a wood burning stove, sofas and chairs and a window looking out down the garden to the hills beyond.  TV with Freesat & DVD.

The second sitting room again with comfortable sofas and chairs, a lovely Persian rug and a fine featured Georgian fireplace, TV with Freesat.

Downstairs cloakroom with a toilet and hand basin.

Downstairs and just outside the back door - there is a wonderful new and "funky" shower room and loo. Perfect if you have been out for a run or on a bike.

Up a flight of oak stairs to two very spacious and luxurious bedrooms and a bathroom:

Bedroom 1:  A family room with a king-size bed and a single bed with a pull out trundle bed underneath.
