We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment. Everything is really as nice as shown on the pictures: clean and in excellent condition. The kitchen is well equipped including coffee, tea, milk, salt etc. The location is perfect both for walking in the Brecon Beacons as well as going to the coast. The village has a number of nice pubs and cafes.

We were looking last minute for a little honeymoon. I struggled to find anywhere online that wasn't extremely overpriced in South Wales. I have stayed in a few places now using holiday cottages. This was by far our favourite. Really clean. And wonderfully decorated, the small village is absolutely perfect and the stream is missed massively now. I most definitely would stay here again. Loved it

Lovely apartment. Very nicely furnished. Lovely helpful owners. We had the best weather for our week but that meant windows open and noise was too much at times. This is not the owners fault. Beach and Brecon approx 1 hour. Both worth travelling for.

Beautiful property decorated to a very high standard with a cute bee theme! Situated in a great area to explore the Brecon Beacons but also close enough to the Gower coast to visit some gorgeous beaches! The owner was very helpful during our stay! The Brecon Beacons is a vast, mountainous and rural region of Wales. Stretching 42 miles from east to west and covering an area of 520 square miles, the Brecon Beacons is dominated by the National Park of the same name. Split into three main areas, the Black Mountain in the west, the Brecon Beacons National Park and Fforest Fawr in the middle, and the Black Mountains in the east; each is a wild, bold and inspiring place to visit on holiday. With 1232 miles of public trails which includes the 95-mile-long Beacons Way, it’s a wayfarer’s delight. One of four Dark Skies Reserves in the UK (and one of 11 in the world), stargazers can delight in the open night sky, to enjoy the darkness in full splendour. The Fforest Fawr is a UNESCO Global Geopark because of its important geology and a need to conserve and protect the area from negative over development.

Stay at a self-catering cottage in the mountains and cascading woodlands or out on the moors; you can also stay in one of the Brecon Beacon’s lovely towns like Hay-on-Wye, Crickhowell, Llangorse or Brecon. Outdoor lovers will enjoy a choice of easy to challenging treks up and around Sugar Loaf Mountain, Carn Pica, Craig Cerrig-Gleisiad, Pen y Fan, or Hatterall Ridge (and many more besides). Take in uniquely Welsh attractions like Dan-yr-Ogof (the National Showcaves Centre for Wales), The Big Pit Mining Museum, Llanthony Priory, Carreg Cennen Castle, Fourteen Locks, and the Brecon Beacons Mountain Railway. Wildlife abounds in the Brecon Beacons, and it’s a great place to spot red kites and discover the successful story of their reintroduction to the UK’s skies at the Red Kite Centre. There’s so much to do for outdoor lovers and extreme sports fans here, so why not book your self-catering holiday in the Brecon Beacons today?

Our holiday cottages across the Brecon Beacons have been carefully selected. From dog-friendly cottages in the countryside to large farmhouses on the mountainsides and everything in between, we have a holiday in the Brecon Beacons to suit you.
