Glass doors lead you into the relaxing lounge which is an ideal space to unwind in at the end of a wonderful day, complete with stone walls, travertine floor, TV/DVD and a wood burner. The stylishly designed kitchen is a pleasure to cook in, with a couple of steps leading down to the dining area where you can gather and chat about the day. Upstairs there are three light and airy bedrooms decorated in tasteful neutral tones, with oak floors, ceiling beams and stunning rural views: the spacious king-size bedroom features a chaise longue and sofa, and there’s also a double room and a bunk bedroom. The private and enclosed courtyard makes a perfect spot for al fresco drinks or a BBQ. The property is set in 10 acres of the owners' grounds with an orchard that you’re welcome to explore.
The village of Grosmont (1 mile) is on the border with England, and has a friendly pub and historic castle. Heading into England you can explore Hereford which houses Mappa Mundi and The Chained Library. The Wye Valley is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (15 miles) or you can go west to discover the Brecon Beacons (6 miles). Local attractions include Skenfrith Castle (8 miles), Raglan Castle (16 miles) and the Black Mountains Cycle Centre (5.5 miles). Also within easy reach are the bustling towns of Abergavenny (8 miles) and Crickhowell (15 miles).
