SLEEPS 10: 5 large bedrooms. 1 super king-size master bedroom with en-suite bath and shower room, as well as dressing room, 3 further large double bedrooms, and 1 twin bedroom which can be converted into a super-king if preferred. There is also an additional day bed available upon request, at no additional cost. Lovely bed linen, storage and Welsh blankets provided.
RELAX: Large sitting room with a top notch Clearview wood burner, logs included, three cosy sofas, the most enormous beanbag, and great views of the garden through the huge oak windows. Gadgets include Wi-Fi, large tv, dvd player (and small selection of DVD's), iPod music doc and Roberts radio. Lower tech holiday reads and games available!
COOKING & DINING: Large open plan kitchen and dining room. An oil fired Aga, gas hob and electric oven for the Aga phobic, microwave, fridge freezer. Lots of pots, pans and china. All the kitchen basics such as oil, salt pepper etc. There is also a second fully equipped kitchen upstairs in a self-contained flat which forms part of this property. The main entertaining space has a large oak refectory table with fun seating and linen cushions looking out over the enormous lake and grounds.
WORKING ON HOLIDAY: Bad luck, but if you need it, there is a proper office area downstairs with wi-fi connectivity and desk. There is also a decent work space in one of the upstairs bedrooms. Mobile reception is good.
BATHTIME: Three upstairs bathrooms, with baths and shower. A downstairs cloakroom with basin and loo. Large separate laundry room with washing machine and dryer and sink.
PLAYTIME: A games room with piano, punch bag, table tennis, working arcade game, table football. Outside, a swing, a lake for fishing or swimming, acres of ground, garden furniture, barbeque in summer months.
PETS: Two well behaved dogs are very welcome in the downstairs kitchen and hall.
THE LAKE: You are welcome to fish and boat on the lake at all times. The green 2 man canoe is for the of guest.
