Back at your home-from-home, make the most of the fantastic outdoor space with far-reaching countryside views from the garden and balcony.

The entrance to the property is a bright and airy hall leading through to the utility room and the living room. With marvellous views out of the windows in the curved room and a soft, sumptuous sofa to seat all the family, here you can get cosy with a good book or enjoy a family film on the wall-mounted TV to relax before your adventures ahead. Doors from the living room lead directly out into the enclosed garden allowing fresh air in and for the entertaining space to be extended outside when the weather is good. The kitchen/diner is modern with grey cabinets and oak countertops creating a lovely area to cook up a feast for breakfast, lunch or dinner. There’s also a dining table where you can gather around to enjoy a meal together whilst making plans for the days ahead. Heading up the curved wooden staircase you’ll find two bedrooms, the first of which is a double boasting a balcony with beautiful views and an en-suite shower. The second bedroom is a further double, decorated in a minimal manner with the character coming from the unusual shape. Up the second set of stairs, you’ll reach the final bedroom which is a cosy single with a dressing table and stool. Completing the property is the family shower room with a shower cubicle and a heated towel rail, great for the winter months.

Hay-on-Wye (1 mile) is a must-visit whilst you’re staying in the area with its array of quaint bookshops, independent cafes and quirky shops to explore. Those in search of an adventure will love Offa’s Dyke Footpath and the Wye Valley Walk which both meander through a patchwork of terrains with awe-inspiring viewpoints along the way. Travel to Llangorse Lake (13 miles) to discover a number of watersporting opportunities from stand up paddleboarding and canoes to pedalos for a more leisurely afternoon.
