Upstairs the first of the bedrooms is furnished with a king-size bed in front of a beautiful exposed brick wall and boasts an en-suite shower. There are a further two king-sized rooms which can be made up as twins upon request, as well as a spacious double. Completing the property is a family bathroom which features a bathtub and a shower overhead. Outside is a patio area with ample space to entertain large groups with seating and a BBQ for the summer months, as well as a blissful hot tub for evening relaxation. The farmhouse also benefits from use of a fully enclosed field with a fire put, and a games barn with a pool table and table tennis which will be popular with guests of all ages.
To get to know the local area, you can visit the market town of Hay-on-Wye which is less than 4 miles from the farmhouse to explore the much-loved bookshops and independent cafes in the area. For a more adventurous day trip, why not pack a picnic for a hike on the Black Mountains walk, selecting a peak along the way to climb to a fantastic viewpoint. Take a trip to Llangorse Lake (17 miles) where an array of watersports are on offer for a day to remember, including stand up paddleboarding and sailing.
