"We had a marvellous week last week, the weather was lovely which always helps. The owner came on Sunday morning and made us feel very welcome, and gave advice about places to visit ... The views from every window are wonderful, and we all loved the garden. It was a very special week."
We had a great Christmas at Rhos Ferig house. It is in a lovely position and very spacious and it was lovely and warm all the time. Each bedroom having an en-suite was great. It's a lovely part of the country and will definitely return.
North of Brecon there are less dramatic - but far prettier - hills, lush valleys and forests. The two main towns in the area are Builth Wells and Llanwrtyd Wells (which claims to be the smallest town in Britain). Both are old spa towns, with a rich history and impressive architecture. We've got a selection of holiday cottages in the towns and in the pretty villages and countryside nearby.
