Prince Llewelyn Cottage is a cosy and rustic cottage set alongside the Prince Llewelyn restaurant/pub; a quiet country pub with good local food set in the small village of Cilmery just two miles from Builth Wells. This is a really great place to stay if you are exploring Mid Wales and The Brecon Beacons and especially if you are attending an event at The Royal Welsh Showground at Llanelwedd just outside Builth Wells. From here it is an easy scenic drive up to The Elan Valley, The Red Kite Feeding Centre and The Wyeside Arts Centre that hosts some really good artists; for fishermen there is excellent fishing

on The River Wye and an 18 hole Golf Course just outside the town.

After a day out exploring, what could be easier than to pop next door for a bite to eat and drink in the friendly local pub.

Accommodation:

Sleeps 2 - 1 King Size

Downstairs

An open plan kitchen/dining/ living area, a new kitchen with an electric oven, two ring hob, microwave, fridge with a freezer box and dining table seating 2; sofa, TV with Freeview and DVD.

Upstairs to:

A large bedroom with King sized bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe.

Bathroom: with shower, toilet, hand basin and heated towel rail.

There is a small garden area with bench at the side of property, the restaurant also has a garden seating area perfect to enjoy the summer evenings.

This is an ideal place for anyone wishing to visit friends in the area or to explore the beautiful Mid Wales area - right on the edge of The Brecon Beacons, only a few miles from The Elan Valley with great scenic drives and the River Wye. Fishing available on the River Wye - tickets from the Wye & Usk Foundation.

Builth Wells is home to the Royal Welsh Agricultural Show with the showground just over the River Wye bridge from the town; with many events held there, from The Royal Welsh Show to the Tour of Britain stage 4 (Cycle Race) and Wales GB Rally.

Set in the heart of Mid Wales this is a good place to explore the Brecon Beacons, Black Mountains and Elan Valley and an easy drive over to the West Wales Coast through wild and undiscovered glorious countryside with certainly more sheep than people. One spring day with bluebells, wild garlic and primroses covering the roadside banks - we drove for 20 minutes and passed only 2 cars along the narrow lanes. Enjoy watching the many resident Red Kites that wheel around over this peaceful and forested countryside.
